My Background

I am an accredited Executive Coach, with both a city and expeditions background. An Economics graduate, I had a successful 11-year career at Goldman Sachs as a private banker, working with ultra high net worth clients, as an FCA approved person. Managing a client service team, with assets under management in excess of $1,000,000,000.

Leaving the city in 2013, I set sail, to circumnavigate the globe, in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. The 44,469-mile journey was an 11-month marathon. Fewer people have raced a yacht around the world than have climbed Mount Everest. In an environment both physically and mentally challenging, the crew dynamics on-board were a fascinating insight into the human psyche. As Chief of Staff, responsible for a highly diverse and international crew, teamwork and leadership lessons were abundant.

I am also a Yachtmaster and a perpetual explorer, whose previous trips include trekking to Everest Base Camp, building a school in Namibia and leading a group of teenagers on a Duke of Edinburgh expedition to the Atlas Mountains.

My Coaching Style

I have a forward looking, solutions focused approach to coaching.

My clients come from a broad range of industries and roles, from senior positions within multinational corporations, through to independent business owners.

Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do, than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
